Welcome kids and families to your front door with Halloween lanterns! Designer Grace created a lantern set that would look great in a window or on a front porch. We love how it looks lit up!

Time: Approximately 20 minutes
Level: Beginner
Size: 4” x 11” x 2 ½”
I love how easy and inexpensive this Halloween décor was. It will be a perfect addition to my porch come October 31st. My favorite part is how the shapes illuminate at night once tea light candles are added to it.
Here's what you need:
- Craft Glue Dots®
- Brown paper bag
- Letter stickers
- Glittered Cardstock - Die Cuts with a View
- Vellum
- Border Stamp
- Black ink
- Cut files
- Die cut machine
- Circle template
- Scissors
- Battery operated candles
Here's what you do:
- Cut out pumpkin and bat shapes using your die cut machine.
- Stamp the distressed background onto the brown paper bag using black ink.
- Make a 3” circle mark on the center of the bag using a template. Cut out the circle (only from the front of the bag) with a pair of scissors.
- Cut out a piece of vellum, about 4” square, and adhere to the inside of the bag behind the open circle using 1" Glue Lines.
- Adhere the glittered jack-o-lantern and bat shapes onto the circle over the vellum pieces using Pop Up Glue Dots.
- Add the letter stickers on the bottom of each bag.
- Place a battery operated tea light at the bottom of each bag and turn on at night.
NOTE: If you are using real candles, place the tea lights in a small jar like a baby food jar before placing in to the bag. This will prevent you from accidentally burning the bag when you light the candles.
