Who doesn't love the cute little animals that go along with Easter? And chocolate? Gotta get some Easter chocolate! Well, today I combined the two to make a fun little Easter edible card or a cute little item you could include in an Easter basket or for a little gift! I love the way it came out!
Here's what you need:
- Craft Glue Dots®
- Patterned paper (DCWV Marquee Stack)
- Feathers (optional)
- Candy bar
- Circle Paper Punches (3 different sizes)
- Scissors
- Marker
Here's what you do:
- Cut your paper to one inch less that the height of your candy bar.
- Wrap the paper around the candy bar and adhere with Craft Glue Dots.
- Punch or cut three different sized circles to create your chick. I used a 1 1 /2" circle punch for the head, a medium scalloped circle for the wings, and my largest circle punch for the body.
- Adhere them together to make the chick on your candy bar.
(Optional: add feathers to the top of the chick's head.)
- Cut out two egg shapes from a coordinating pieces of paper and adhere them together with Craft Glue Dots.
- Draw your chicks eyes, beak, and feet and write a greeting on the egg.
There you have it! A super cute candy bar card to give someone OR a fun little item to include in an Easter basket!
